Building Independence Through Direct Services

The Florida Economic Consortium, Inc. (FEC) is dedicated to empowering youth and families through a comprehensive range of direct, self-sufficiency social services. From academic tutoring and youth violence prevention to financial literacy and chronic disease self-management, every program we deliver is designed with one goal: helping the people we serve become independent, healthy, and successful.

Rooted in Central Florida

FEC serves youth and families across Central Florida, with focused investment in Orange County neighborhoods — including the Concentrated Community Initiative (CCI) and Targeted Community Initiative (TCI) Sector 1 (ZIP Code 32703) and East Orange County. Our programs are funded through partners including the Orange County Citizens' Commission for Children and the Florida Department of Health.
