💪 Physical Health Program
The Physical Health Program promotes healthy lifestyle behaviors among youth through an engaging, evidence-based approach. The program provides education and activities focused on physical fitness, nutrition, mental wellness, and the development of lifelong healthy habits that support overall well-being.
Services are tailored to meet the developmental needs of young people, with most participants residing in Orange County's Concentrated Community Initiative (CCI) Sector 1 (ZIP Code 32703).
📚 Reading & Mathematics Tutoring Program
The Reading & Mathematics Tutoring Program provides high-quality academic support to students in grades 3–12 who are experiencing challenges in reading and/or mathematics. The program utilizes evidence-based instructional strategies, individualized and small-group tutoring, educational workbooks, handouts, and technology-based learning tools to strengthen academic skills, increase confidence, and improve overall student achievement.
Services are designed to meet each student's unique learning needs while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and long-term academic success. Priority is given to Orange County residents living within the Targeted Community Initiative (TCI) Sector 1 (ZIP Code 32703).
💼 Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program
The Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program equips youth with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to achieve lifelong personal and financial success. The program provides comprehensive instruction in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, workplace readiness, character development, and career exploration while promoting educational opportunities and access to community resources.
Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, participants develop essential life skills, build confidence, and gain the tools necessary to make informed financial and career decisions. The majority of participants served through this funded program reside in East Orange County.
🤝 Youth Violence Prevention Program
The Youth Violence Prevention Program is designed to reduce youth violence by providing positive youth development opportunities, caring adult mentors, and evidence-based prevention services. Through partnerships with community-based organizations, the program engages youth in mentoring, life skills training, leadership development, academic enrichment, career readiness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, STEM education, health and wellness, arts, music, and community service activities.
The program promotes positive decision-making, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, resilience, and educational success while equipping youth with the skills and support needed to become productive members of their communities.

King Solomon FoundationAges 13–24
Community-based outreach and mentoring through one-on-one mentoring, life skills training, academic support, health awareness, cultural enrichment, college tours, delinquency prevention mentoring, and youth leadership development.
IHope MentoringAges 12–17
A concentrated emphasis on violence prevention through comprehensive mentoring, life skills training, academic support, and character development — plus educational enrichment, leadership development, career exploration, and personal growth opportunities.
Toussaint Boxing Gym & Fitness Center, Inc.Ages 13–24
Engaging predominantly male youth through structured mentoring, boxing and physical fitness instruction, health and wellness education, academic support, leadership development, conflict resolution, and career readiness — fostering discipline, confidence, respect, and personal responsibility.
❤️ Life N Balance — A Chronic Care Initiative
Life N Balance is a chronic disease prevention and self-management program designed to empower individuals living with diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol to take control of their health through education, prevention, and healthy lifestyle changes. Participants receive the knowledge, skills, resources, and ongoing support needed to effectively manage chronic conditions and reduce the risk of serious health complications.
Through health education workshops, community health worker support, health screenings, wellness coaching, nutrition education, physical activity, and self-management strategies, participants learn to make informed decisions that improve their overall health and quality of life. The program emphasizes preventive care, medication adherence, healthy eating, regular physical activity, and routine monitoring of chronic conditions.
The goal: reduce avoidable emergency room visits and hospitalizations, improve participants' ability to manage their health independently, and promote long-term healthy behaviors that lead to better health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs.
